Not bad , and they even let you get different program configuration!...But how long does it take to get new programs....from what im hearing, hes kinda slow!
you should have your new files in 5 days but you could have them sooner depends on how busy they are,
this is well worth it and you should try it,
do a search here and buy your programming cable from sensolutions if you are in the U.S.

in the past I also heard they were a little slow. But now it appears that Volker has taken on the 'Customer Service' role and they are delivering when they say they will. I was told my file would be sent within 5 business and it came on the 4th day. I know other people have had issues with sending and receiving files. I think the best way to go is to keep in direct contact with Volker via email, from the time you inquire about which file you want (standard or tuner) to the time the file is sent back to you to be uploaded into your mini. Since they are restructuring the web site, the location to upload your files (.mim & .org) to Franz has not been working perfectly, so I would recommend sending the files directly to Volker to expedite the process. Until they get the web site issues sorted out, that is.

I have the cable from work being i do Dinan and JCW flash's which uses a USB to OBDII so i wanted to try this one being i have ALOT more work done than what both the two companies offer.....I need a special program to be burned for me other than what i see everyone else getting with the 15%-19% pulley and every other mod. Im running a 19% that i had milled down to a 21% ( roughly ).

I would also follow up with an email to Volker, just to be safe. Let him know you are just sending a duplicate. Things may already be on the up and up with their site, but who knows...

Volker Kurch: vk@mth-powerchip.de
File Upload: http://www.carflasher.de/

As "haulinS" had said, you may want to do everything through Volker rather than using the outdated MTH site. I suggest emailing Volker now & he'll set you on the right path.

We have to clear a huge misunderstanding. What you always paid the 60 Euro for was CARTUNE, not any tuning file.

The new prices do include Cartune, so no need to pay an extra 60 Euro. People that bought Cartune first and only later decide to go for a tuning, will be credited with the 60 Euro paid for Cartune (till end of October) for their first order.
Sooo...if I already own cartune and my brother decides to go the MTH route, does this mean that we can use MY purchased version of Cartune on MY computer to download/upload his MTH files? If we're paying for cartune seperately, why should we have to purchase cartune again if it's being used on the same computer?

My brother should only have to pay for the tuning files.

Thoughts???

Don't know about should, but the upload to the car is keyed by VIN and PIN (that you get when you pay for the Cartune). I don't know how this has changed lately. You can download an infinite amount of car descriptions using one copy, but the uploads are a different story....

Anyway, the pricing changes were inevitable. For some, it will price the product out of the "desirable" stage. Personally, I think I'd still get the base for the DSC changes and maybe the red-line changes, but I'd think of other tuning options for power.

But it still comes down to the fact that it's cheap (relative to other items) and you can keep changing it, but it's not as cheap as it used to be.

I wish they'd done something less drastic, but such is life. If they end up with no customers, something will change.

Matt

The Mth website has been updated.

I just saw that Mth cartune has the new pricing up on their website. Very detailed now. Even gives you house power numbers. It is about time!! Looks very cool.

The USA site has a lot more info so far, and cable info...although I have no idea why anyone would want to pay $30 more for it from them then Sensolutions?

The USA site isnt MTH proper, but an affiliate. Lets steer this away from the advertising cause I do like this thread as it has been very helpful to many people. (see post one).

PS The Sensolutions cable is $130US to your door.

No, it was barely over $100 (I bought it about 2 months ago), and that was overnight shipping. The prices on the Sensolutions site (129.50) are Can$.

Er, what? Man, this NAM political bickering is so tedious. "Go buy from someone who supports the site." "Posts from MTH agents will be deleted." Waaah.

So who are the MTH-USA folks (or "guy", Patrick Forristal)? The price isn't right; it's another twenty-five bucks to buy from him, but maybe there's a reason to go with him instead of our friends from das fatherland?

Need to figure out how I "GOT" key code...

I don't have it now...

I paid 58 euros on credit card way back in Febuary 11th.... Still can't upload received MTH file from Franz. I looks like the broken English text is saying the keycode is only displayed online when the credit card info is put in.

I have sent 2 emails over about 4 days to info and mini@mth-powerchip.de but no response yet.... I have tried twice when I have been at a persons house that has the interface cable but 6 months later still don't know the key code.

does anyone remember how they got the keycode ?!!!!!

thanks in advance

I double checked that, and there is a place for the "KEY=" value in the mim file, but it is not filled in. I received my keycode when I entered my VIN on the MTH site at purchase. I would suggest you contact Volker Kurch: vk@mth-powerchip.de for assistance.

Do you have the original email from Franz? Mine contained my keycode. I also got it from their site when I purchased the software.
