Denver to MUTA Caravan

Denver to MUTA Caravan
Caravan to MUTA leaves at 6:30 am on Friday morning from west Denver. Meetup at the intersection of I-70 and Morrison Rd., on the NE corner. (Forget the name of the lot, but the NW corner is currently under construction). Things to bring:
- Water or other beverages. Cooler.
- Empty bladder. We will go as far as we can w/o stopping, to make good time.
- Full tank of gas. Projected first stop: Fruita, on the other side of Grand Junction, about 4.5 hrs
- GRS Radio, channel 7 sub 21
- Your GPS device, whatever you use. There is only 1 turn between Denver and Moab.
- Tunes
- Hotel Reservations
- Warm weather gear. Don't kid yourselves.
- Your National Parks card. Saves time and money.
- Digital camera, batteries, and extra memory card.
- A well maintained MINI - oil, tires, fluids, etc.
Route is I-70 all the way, then left on Dinosaur Diamond Hwy, Route 128.

I was going to leave Thursday, but it will be much more fun with other MINI's 
I'm not going to be able to make it to the 4 Corners run this weekend tho.

Holiday Inn Express for all meets (might change, so do your best to meet at the times noted for runs)

There will be 3 Runs a day
Morning runs - 9:00 AM
Afternoon runs - 1:00 PM
Evening runs - 5:00 PM (this is going to be for sunset drives)
Please meet as close to these times as possible. We will get a head-count for people wanting to go on certain runs at the times above.

When you get to Parachute give us a call. We will already be in Grand Junction. We and our friends can hook up with you at the Frutia Rest Area. (Located on the South side of I-70 at the Frutia exit)
We'll expect a call around 9:30 a.m. if you have phone reception, we usually do. Otherwise we'll hook up at the first evening run on Friday.
