Rats a$$. I thought this had an N18 engine; I just found out it has an N14. Dang it.

 

Dealers are beating us up terribly these days....N14 or not.

 

The Factory JCW's of this vintage were N14's with upgraded internals of engine and completely welded ex.
However..If/when an aftersales version JCW, which was; airbox, exhaust, intake manifold and JCW tune, it would be the N18 engine.

 

2013+ R chassis fJCW cars got the N18

If I was trading this car in, I would have those seats out in a heartbeat and install a set of regular ol'e MINI seats. You want more cash in your hand for the new deal? Then don't give the dealership such a big tip for getting nothing in return.
