i guess once you sign up your free to add your worthless comment to any of the auctions. Maybe they should charge a fee if you wanna be stupid. Atleast they delete the worst ones. I just can’t see putting a negative comment on someone’s auction. People are brave on the internet, more arrogant than they would be face to face.

 

It happens here all the time... someone lists a car on NAM... and someone tells them everything they don't like about it or how stock it is or how they hated the shocks the seller chose are.... Keyboard warriors are not limited to only cars.

I handle road rage with my clown nose and happy wave, although sometimes it has the opposite effect, it’s all good.

 

Have you heard about the clown nose trick to get out of a ticket?

Your license has a little foam clown nose stuck on the pic. You put on your clown nose when the cop is looking at your license and papers. When he looks back at you hopefully he gets a laugh a gives you a warning.

CarFax noted that it had been serviced a good few times at Flow MINI --- I've bought parts from them before at minipartsdirect.com because they have such great prices, their parts dept. has got it going on with the online commerce thing.

No pics of the certificate or engine to see if it has other JCW bits besides badges and exhaust. It wouldn’t be a factory JCW, but the VIN decoder does show an LSD, so that’s a plus if it’s still there and in good shape.

Possibly a great deal if a JCW with LSD and 85K for the price. Probably some wiggle room there, too.

 

Of course. Some times you get lucky and find a seller that just thinks it’s a badge. Would be surprised if a dealer overlooked that, but it happens. I usually assume if the badges and exhaust are there, it would probably be a JCW, but without engine pics or certificate, you’d have to call to verify, which I would do if I were looking.

The aero is the lipstick, just needs a window mechanism, and a little spit shine. Or maybe more. Not much info there. I’d pay $2750 for that $3500 car if it was mechanically sound.
