Yea... it sold in BAT-fantasy-land for $17,587.50 plus taxes and transport on that car... plus the age-related maint that will still be needed ... $20k and call it ‘bout right ??
But, would anyone on this thread pay that for the car ... just sincerely curious ... if yes ... raise your hand 🙋♂️
For people with a new Mercedes in the garage ... it’s still a cheap little ‘Sporty Car’ for less than a New Hyundai
Play-money, huh !

I guess nows the time for me to put up our JCW. Spring has arrived.
Mileage is low on that Canadian beauty, if I remember, finish off the black skirt paint, and get it over the border on Bat, and I think you’d do really well. But time is also on your side, keep the miles low and you can’t lose while still having some fun. You’ll miss it if you unload it I’m sure...unless you have a replacement.
I have the compliance letter from BMW stating its a green light for US import in hand and a broker on stand by ;-) Im in the fortunate position that I do have another JCW otherwise I would be holding it close. Ive owned a few over the years but never had one with the JCW carbon dash. I have to say it looks very nice in there.

Actually that depends on a persons point of view. As far as JCW originality this one is right on point and super clean. The others are, our Dinan S2 (also very clean) and my modified JCW (my summer grin machine). Each one has a special spot in our family. Im looking to buy a property and the 05' was voted the fall guy... I love it because it has no mods and 96,000 kms on her.

Dinan S2 03' JCW
you are one lucky man, and yes they are all distinct in their own way, I’d have a lot of trouble choosing which was gonna leave your little mini sanctuary, that BRG looks like a little demon. And the Dinan with the body kit...pretty sweet indeed.
Thank you! The easy way for me was the Dinan I can't mod its a very well known and documented car around here. Kermit I don't have any issue moving forward with more and more mods. I have quite a few sitting on the shelf waiting to see what happens with our property search moving forward. So in having the Dinan and the Grey JCW 2 cars I can't mod thats what made the decision for me. No use having 2 garage queens ;-)
I can agree that not all cars there have issue. I bought my first R53 in Syracuse and has rust, a lot of rust. This one show signs, at least I think it does.
So yeah, not a bad price. But to repair that is not free and probably on both sides and hatch handle and brake lines and chassis and bottom of doors and..... Ask me how I know
I am the owner of the mini above and can take more pics if someone is serious on this forum.
2003 Mini Cooper S-1st Gen-Supercharged. Clean Title-currently listed as non-op w/ DMV. John Cooper Works Body Kit and Shifter Ball, Center Borla Exhaust and aftermarket upgrades. Car runs great and fun to drive. Great for a teenager, just not mine-sadly. New custom seat covers, new rear brakes.

Hell that one is middle aged, little bit of gray on the sides, and maybe some muffin top around the belt line, but good for another 150k before it needs to start looking into assisted living communities.

Yep.... I've been seeing some with original engines that are at the 300K mark.
Lots of people are paying $3k for PPF/Tint/correction, or a BBK ...or used Aero
Even with some issues to live with... thats a lot of car for $3k..
Yup, and there’s a week long drought over at Bat. Someone let JacMac know we’re getting bored over here, give us an insane auction to keep us going for a while. I think now is a good time.
