Hard to be sure, but there’s a good chance it is. It’s an auto too... I always wondered if a GP intercooler would fit an auto since the engine is shifted towards the passenger side.
The car might be good to part out if it is and the other parts are in good condition. The intercooler, FL xenons, R98’s, HK amp, unknown aftermarket airbox, auto undertray with PS fan duct, plus whatever else should worth something.
There was a post of a random R53 at a pick your part last year that had a GP intercooler with a DDM cover that seemed to go unnoticed. I tried to get it, but they never responded and was on the other side of the country so I couldn’t go pull it myself. I wonder if it’s still there mixed in a pile of intercoolers on a shelf? Not sure how those places stock inventory, but it would be sad if a good GP intercooler ended up being scrapped.
When you pop off the intercooler check the injectors, you may just find four blue #13537574132.
Looks like anthracite interior dash.
Chrome filler caps alone are over $200.00 new.
The R98's are some of the best looking wheels on the R53's IMO...
Crazy how much the fees are for the actution and the "dealer" selling it as an "auction"...
GP cooler is nice... but then you have to deal with having a whole car to part out.
If you have lots of spare time.... I guess you can make sense of parting out something like this. Lots of work pulling it apart, listing, boxing, shipping etc etc. Then getting rid of the carcass...
Here is a 12k mile fJCW on BaT. The selling dealer has some errors in the listing and what look like dealer installed aftermarket leather seats may keep the price down.
It definitely has aftermarket leather seats, original tires, no maintenance history, a non aero rear bumper (which makes me wonder if it was in an accident and they couldn’t find a replacement. Not all accidents show up on the Carfax). Also appears to have rodent damage on the plug wires from being in storage.

Looks like a dealer leather upgrade kit like Katzkin or something. I agree with the comments that the standard S bumper looks better than the rear aero bumper. The aero rear “vent” area and overall bumper profile looks too F&F and doesn’t really match the rest of the kit.
On the color, I wonder if it’s really a Solar Red repaint or just a mistake in the description.
My gut feeling is that it the aero kit installer didn’t like the rear aero bumper or got a deal on a set without the rear and didn’t worry about the rear.
Since the car was built Chili Red, I would change to thinking there was an undocumented accident if it is really a Solar Red repaint.
Grey 76K mile 6sp -- looks pretty clean at that price point, definitely worth looking into.
Blue 46K mile auto -- I'm always suspicious when someone is asking top dollar and can't even take the time to write a useful, informative ad....just one big run-on sentence.

Yeah the blue has California plates and lots of pics, usually the scams are opposite, lots of words, no plate, and only one or two pics. But as always, it’s CL, proceed with caution. Looks legit to me, and I’ve looked at thousands over the last couple years.
Can’t believe someone here isn’t jumping all over this...if it’s still available, maybe just check for flood damage, but otherwise, a $7500+ vehicle all day.
