I agree about the black wheels on these cars ... popular with many though not the right color to make the design ‘pop’ IMO.

Thr silver I actually like... Maybe break it up with a JCW hood scoop and some bonnet stripes... a set of nice driving lights would be cool as well

I’m one of the ones who doesn’t mind and actually like the painted wheel arches, especially on the aero, and it makes it easier to wax the car, but they gotta have the right color rims..black rims have a way of making the wheels disappear, unless there’s some silver, either wheel lip or even the screws on a two piece. On that car, it looks like a silver brick with two holes where the wheels go.

Absolute steal...if you like that color combo. I would have to switch out the entire interior since I can’t stand tan.

Or paint the roof BRG, that combo makes my eyes hurt. The tan, the white, the chrome, the stripses, too much going on. But how do you need a clutch at 13k miles, kinda odd.

I don't mind the quirkiness of the color combo, but yea that early clutch replacement is a definite hmmmm. Also, for 30K miles that engine bay looks more like 130K. I know there is salt air corrosion in Florida, but I would have expected a bit cleaner under-bonnet view. Also are the headlight washer covers both missing? Otherwise, I'm like... what Checkmate in Phoenix? LOL

It’s a bit odd that the photos of the car are on a MINI showroom floor, but it’s a private sale by owner?

BRG with a silver roof is unusual. But this car has a lot of potential.

This two-owner BRG/silver 2006 Factory JCW with 29,407 miles sold already. Asking price was $8,000. The selling owner was a service advisor at MINI and the clutch was replaced under warranty at 13K by the same MINI dealer because "the original owner just wanted to replace it." VIN is WMWRE33556TL22820 in case we want to track this in the future.

Note for these ads: if you have the VIN it's a great idea to post it. The ad links eventually go dead or get deleted, and posting the VIN will preserve any discussion history if the car comes up for sale later.

Anyone here buy it?

This was just listed and probably won’t last long. Super low miles, 25k, one owner, asking $10k.

A rather odd ad in that current up-to-date pictures are lacking especially considering the asking price.

Love this pic though,
the smile says it all!

Good Deals on CL-dthg1bj.jpg

Quite an impressive mod list no doubt.

For sale is a 2005 Mini Cooper S Hatchback with a Revolution Mini 1.62L bore engine. Engine has less than 2500miles on it and cleanly revs to 9000rpm with the 1000cc FIC injectors. Dyno sheets show it was making 268whp - that’s to the wheels! Will easily make over 300hp with an upgraded supercharger.
Link G4+ ECU - Jan is willing to help tune the car remotely from Revolution Motor Works if you want different adjustments or revs. Another option is to learn and do it yourself from a Windows computer.
JCW front brake kit.
Stainless brake lines all around.
Poly motor mounts all around - SUPERPRO.
Airtec top mount intercooler - largest top mount available.
Quaife LSD.
Airtec oil cooling kit.
M7 tuning oil catch can.
M7 tuning strut tower plates and brace.
Fully specd roll cage for IMSA etc.
Flex-Fuel - E85
Runs on gasoline AND/OR ethanol or any mix of both with high flow fuel pump. Ethanol = more power and cleaner burn!
15% reduction pulley on supercharger.
Fluid dampened crank pulley.
Craven Speed shift-well cover.
Mishimoto weighted shift ****.
Couple dents in the roof from storing in a garage years ago when a mystery item fell on it.
Carbon fiber hood scoop.
Carbon fiber rear spoiler.
P2 vent gauge installed and rare JCW shift light, needs rewiring since new ecu.
Recaro Pole Position race seats (orig. $1300/ea)
Rear seat delete.
Five-point harness for driver and passenger.
Fire suppression system installed halfway - rest of kit sitting in garage.
Comes with mini extinguisher mounted to cage.
Bilstein PSS9 coilovers - height and dampening adjustable.
Borla cat-back exhaust.
Steel plate for the splash guard.
Revolution shorty header w/ GESI high flow cat..
New Revolution camshaft, forged RMW Mahle pistons, forged RMW rods, 3/8 ARP2000 rod bolts, King race rod bearings, King main bearings, RMW oil pan baffle, RMW L19 ARP head studs, clutch, etc - bored from 1.6L to 1.62L.
Silicone intake and coolant hoses.
Alta adjustable endlinks.
Adjustable Hotchkis rear control arms, upper and lower.
Adjustable camber plates.
New front passenger axle installed a couple months ago.
Largest rear sway bar available for car 22mm - 230% stiffer/less body roll.
MOMO steering wheel on quick release hub.
Enkei RPF1 wheels 16”.
Lots of extra parts including hubs, wheel bearings, pulleys, tensioners, etc, and a pair wheels w/ tires.
So much more! I have several build sheets from over the years of alll the work that was done to it.
In 2007 it was sent over to the east coast to get the cage and first race motor. From there it’s been constantly built up and just last February I sent it to Revolution Motor Works in LA for the 1.62L Revolution Mini motor.
This car has competed for years in track events, auto cross (auto-x), and even participated in La Carrera Fraternidad in Mexico and the Bubble Gum Rally several years ago in Cal.
Chassis has somewhere around 120k miles, odometer was reset at second motor and currently reads about 20k miles, the new motor has less than 2500 miles. Does come with NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE on title.
Barely street legal and a ton of fun to drive.
