This MCS is a fantastic, fun car but I miss turning a wrench - an early 70's BMW 2002 or AR GTV is next.

Here's a really nice, modestly modded MCS for sale at a fair price. 2005 MCS, BRG/W, Premium & Sport, LSD, BRG/W, gray leatherette, 14k miles for sale for $23k. In SoCal (Altadena).
Mods done professionally by Steve's Auto: 15% pulley, MTH, Miltech exhaust, Alta intake, cold plugs, 19mm H-Sport rear sway bar.
Mods by me: Enkei RPM2 wheels & Yokohama AVS tires & lots of Zaino.
Other stuff: Factory Ipod adapter (not installed), factory garage door opener, 50k extended warranty, car cover, small MC spare wheel/tire for long trips, compressor & Fix-A-Flat for short trips.
Performance: 181.8 WHp measured on DRS dyno. 28+ mpg on long trips, 23-25mpg driving around LA.
NEVER on track or autocrossed, AVS tires put on at 2k miles still have lots left. One owner, no problems or accidents, clean title.

I just sold the car locally through Craigslist for $23k. Thanks to all the NAM members who expressed interest, but it seems that NAM is not the place to get the best price.

Enjoy your Minis, they are wonderful cars. I'm off to tinker with old, unreliable, lesser performance cars .

 

Makes sense, just about everyone here has at least one MINI, if not two.
