FS: 2006 MCS, Limited Edition Royal Gray
FS: 2006 MCS, Limited Edition Royal Gray
With the addition of our new Son, we unfortunately need to sell our beloved MCS.
The car is stock (your platform for fun) has the 2006 limited edition Royal Gray with matching body color mirrors and roof.
Black Leatherette Interior
Manual
Chrome Accented Interior
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Rear Fog Light
DSC
iPod Adaptor built-in
Cup Holder
Arm Rest
Rubber and cloth mats
I've had it on cars.com for a while and am asking $21,900 for the car. It's located in Arlington, MA and has about 19,500 miles on it. The car is in excellent condition with only a couple of minor scratches on the interior of the rear hatch only visible with the hatch door open.
What do you think? Is this priced too high? Based on what I've seen for others out there this seems to be appropriately priced and on the low-end for 2006 with this mileage. With the exception of leather interior I thought we had all of the features that people look for -- why do you think we're not even getting any offers?
If you are interested, please reply to me at matt.carey@yahoo.com.

A lot of people seem to like the Sport package, as well as LSD, in addition to the DSC. Also, many opt for 17" wheels and tires.
It's a nice-looking car, though, and, as you say, has many modding possibilities. Good luck with your sale!

Although it's been awhile (last January) I got $20K for my 2006 with slightly higher mileage (26K). Mine was more of a stripper with LSD, Sports Pack, and a few luxury items. Just my opinion, but I think the really sellable market for used MINI's starts at $20K and goes down. Anyone wanting to spend more than that would likely just order a new one.
What is the right price for a 2006 MCS
I've had my MCS for sale now for over 1 month. It's been on cars.com and is the lowest priced 2006 MCS within 150 miles of Boston (this included NYC area).
I started at $23,499 because of what it has and have dropped the price down to $21,750, but still can't seem to get any interest.
What do people think the price of a 2006 MCS with 19,50 miles on it should be -- see my post "FS-2006 MCS, limited edition royal gray" for details on the car.

Compared to what MINI is selling the pre-owned 2006 MCS's with about the same mileage, you're new price sounds about right. So don't lose hope....good luck with the sale
Edit: I just noticed i bumped a really old thread.....sorry, didn't notice the date. I did a search for 'royal gray'
