Please suggest your favorite picnic locations
in both Northern Colorado and around Colorado Springs.
Our Northern and Colo Springs "Steering Committees" will make the determination on the locations, and we will meet there for picnic, then go for a ride. The date is Sunday, June 5th at NOON...
Please make your suggestions here.....and thanks!!

Picnic suggestions
Jonathan sent me a PM asking for picnic place recommendations - here is what I sent him (somewhat edited). I'm reposting it in order to liven up the thread.
Picnic suggestions?
Well, there's always Rocky Mountain National Park if people want to get up into the mountains. I saw, in the paper, that they are working on opening Trail Ridge Road.
Chautauqua Park in Boulder or up the hill to the Flagstaff Mountain scenic overlook or amphitheater.
Some folks might like having a picnic in one of the parks in Prospect Newtown, Longmont (my neighborhood) and checking out the fun architecture. They may also opt for take out BBQ from the restaurant on the park. By the way, we already have about 8 MINIs in the neighborhood so all of the visiting MINIs will feel right at home.

How's that? Need more suggestions?
