Hey MINI 5280,

I wanted to share a list of upcoming Car Shows for the summer that a friend at work emailed me. The second one and the last one would be good for a MINI 5280 event that starts later in the day. Sadly for the last one, Longmont, CO. has "NO CRUISING" signs everywhere.

Any one is free to plan an event with these.

Here are a few of the car show events for this summer in Colorado.

There is a monthly show at the Burger King at 7650 W. Quincy Avenue, the corner of Wadsworth and Kipling on Friday May 20th, June 17th, July 15th, Aug 19th, Sept 15th, and Oct 14th.

There is a monthly show and Giant Cruise in Golden on the first Saturday every month through October, these shows usually run from 2pm-8pm, and center around the Sonic on the SE edge of town.

Colorado Flatlanders has a show scheduled for July 9th at Pioneer Park in Sterling, Colorado, Registration 8am-11:30, Showtime 8am to 4pm, Sunday July 10th continental breakfast, Poker run, and awards ceremony.

Cruisin' Havana, 4th annual Car Show& Poker Run, Saturday June 18th, 2011 (over 5000 Classic cars), located at the Gibby's/Bucky Village Festival Site, 1555 S. Havana Street.

Lynch's 5th Annual Car Show. June 10th from 4-9pm, 9670 W. Coalmine Ave., Littleton, CO (support suicide awareness).

O'Meara's Golden Oldies Car Classic, Saturday August 14th, 8am-2pm, first 250 entries get dash plaque and t-shirt

Father's Day car show, Sunday June 19th, Apex Center, 72nd & ward road, 9-3pm

Burger King show, Longmont, CO, Friday June 24th, 5-9pm

 

They let the "coloRODans" cruise Main Street in Longmont... maybe we oughtta anyway.

 

Redeemer Rodders is hosting the Father Fest Car Show on Saturday, June 18th.

Hey I didn't see the Daveco Liquors Car Show in August 28. That's one the MINIs have participated in. Check the NAM MINI5280 event calendar for details!

Burger King car show - this Friday June 24 from 5 - 9pm - at the "Twin Peaks Mall" BK location. Me and BLU-BY-U are attending and BLU-BY-U is entering his MINI but I am not. Anyone else interested in checking it out?

 

What's the details on this? If relatively close, I may stop by.

Erik this is at the Burger King next to the Longmont Mall. Here is their flyer

 

Though they aren't official or actual shows, Saturday nights at SONIC on 94th and Federal, and now at 102th and Washington, both attract a croud.
Its mostly always the same people, and you need to weed out the irrisponsible ricers, but it would be kinda cool to take it over with MINI's.

I am putting BLU-BY-U in, so I will be there just before 5 pm to get a good spot.

 

Nice turn-out for the Burker King Car Show in Longmont. 3 MINIs (BLU-BY-U, Booktrout & RUDEBOX) were in attendance and new Countryman owners stopped by too. They saw the posting on the MINI5280 Facebook page. The next show will be in July on the 22nd.
