LilB78 and I already had a deal for all the gauges but he decided to sell you the center gauge behind my back because you offered more and he "Needed To pay Bills" despite me being cash ready since SUNDAY. In any event, he did not even let me counter offer so his loss is your gain if you're willing to sell I'm willing to pay.
On a side note if you have the mini cockpit Chrono package get at me. Paypal ready. Let's make a deal!

Reason: Already purchased a set
Did you end up getting the crankpulley from him ??
I tried to get it on Sunday when I first contacted him to make a deal but unfortunately, someone beat me to it. However, I was the first to make a deal for the cluster gauges and asked about the Center gauge. We made a deal for all 3, a very generous deal on his part then he sells the center gauge to someone else without letting me know he is selling it?? I called the deal for the cluster gauges and Alta pulley off because he didn't even attempt to contact me before selling the center gauge. He was the one who offered to throw the center gauge in from the beginning when I showed interest without asking for more money. So it pisses me off when he told me he was "desperate for money" when I was cash ready for all the parts including the dampener crank pulley on Sunday.
I apologize for ranting but this was one thing I was looking forward to all weekend as he kept updating me all week on his progress removing all three gauges and the Alta pulley.
Understandable . It's very frustrating to think something is in order just to have it fall through. Exp when it comes to our loves, our cars .. I too missed out on the pulley by literally 5min. If I bought it it woulda been perfect as my stock one just failed the other day so it was like I just knew I was going to need it...lol my luck though . Hopefully this guy who offered me one he had in his garage brand new ends up still giving it to me..
but dont get too upset. stuff is out of the norm now and nothing is going normal or as planned..I hoped so bad 2019 was gonna be a year to forget by now how 2020s already started , losing my benefits and now covid19 hits n my car breaks all a week after getting cut off my benefits SUCKS , when it rains it pours on me it seems. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have none.
what parts are you needing exactly? Theres an S in our local junkyard I could go check out for you and if it has what you need just cover its price from the yard and shipping and i could go get it for you .

Just curious the R52 I just bought came with a set of chrono gauges. The previous owner bought them to do the swap but never did it. From what I read nobody has figured out a way to do the full swap without issues since the odometer and computer run thru the gauges. How were you going to do the swap. Thanks for any info and good luck with your search. I'm sure you'll find a set.

I'm not sure how to solve that problem but I'll reach out to an acquaintance of mine who used to be a mini mechanic for any insight on the swap.
if you're ever interested in selling your package slide in my dms first .

There’s a thread over in hatch talk with some guys who have figured out how to code the mileage and VIN. Forewarning, it’s anything but simple. I doubt a normal mechanic is going to be able to do that swap unless he’s also a serious electronics hobbyist.
I sent my Chrono Pack to a guy in England who does custom gauges. He then got a fellow gauge guy to do it. He cleared the odometer and reset it to my R53’s current mileage. It would be a bargain but for shipping and customs!
i can see if I can find his contact info if anyone is interested. I think we communicated through Facebook Messenger if memory serves me correctly.
Sounds good. Did you have to send him all the gauges or just the large one. After it was programmed was it just a matter of swapping them out. Starting to wonder if it's worth all the trouble. Or wish there was someplace in the US that did it.
