From my 2006 GP. - Forum has confirmed that this is the same header as, and thus will fit 02 - 06 MCS and MCS JCW. i.e. No performance upgrade, just an opportunity to replace your worn out/damaged unit with my good condition item!

In good condition as you can see.

Question

I'm not sure if this is any different from a standard MCS JCW header and cat.
If it helps the part numbers on this are as follows:

1. On the cat: 1840 7527791 01
2. On the enlarged diameter part after the flex coupler: 1840 7527788 02

Hopefully a forum member with experience in this area can chime in?

Is it different from a stock Cooper S set? Not a JCW but a Standard MCS.

Well a jcw has the same header as a mcs and the only things they changed on the gp (engine wise) were a bigger intercooler and a different tune, so it stands to reason that this is the same as a mcs header.

^^^ I have confirmed the above information. The headers/cat are the same from 02-06, standard Cooper up to S JCW.

Bumping this up, as I've reduced the price to $150, excluding shipping.
I can deliver if you are local in Portland, Oregon.

This is a great price. Especially if you need a new catalytic converter. If you live in Ca and are subject to smog, having an extra stock header in the garage is cheap insurance.
