This is a stock tensioner and if you want to do a local pickup I can let it go go $60.00.

This was a good price, but for those that missed it don't fret you can still pick up an OEM tensioner on Amazon for $80 delivered to your door.

If it's a Gates brand, how does that make it OEM.

That would make it AFTER MARKET.

Gates is an OEM MANUFACTURER my friend. If you ever happen to remove yours no where on it will you see MINI or BMW stamp. As a matter of fact when I swapped mine it was the exact same unit right down to the manufacturers name on the casting. AFTERMARKET LOL.
