I am in need of the positioning template for the JCW Carbon Fiber Spoiler. Please let me know if you have one you want to sell, or know where I can get one. (Davy, I hope you don't mind that I used your photo since I haven't received the spoiler yet. It's on a slow boat from Holland )

 

Hey. Don't mean to troll your thread. Just curious. I see you ordered a jcw spoiler from holland and it doesn't have the template. Just curious why you didn't just order from mini and it comes with everything. Did ya get a crazy good deal on it? If so are there more? I can get them from my mini guy for right around 600 when I talked to him about 2 weeks ago.

 

I actually bought it from Daveke's ad in the Marketplace here. He pulled it off of one of his MINIs. I would rather give my money to someone who is selling here than the dealer. Davy had a good deal on it so I went that route. Now I need the template because the 2 MINI dealers here in the Phoenix area will not install it because I did not buy it from MINI, even though it is a genuine MINI part and they told me the spoiler was no longer available. I don't get how one dealer says something is not available and another says it is. I just called one dealer for the caps to plug the standard spoiler holes and they said no longer available. I called the other one and I had the caps in 2 days.???

 

If you ever need something and someone tells you they can't get it. Call Richard at mini of Charlotte nc parts. If he can't get it, no one can. He's top notch and he will give the best prices. Tell him Travis sent ya.

I can help you some more. When you take the old wing off to install the new Wing which is NLA in all colors and variations for the Gen 1 R50/R53/
