This is the suspension setup I ran on the 2011 mini I campaigned in 2013. It won nearly every event it went to (the 2 it didn't win were because of cones). SUPER easy to drive fast and still very streetable. Pulled over 1.4g on r comps and 1.1-1.2 on street tires on this setup. You can not go this fast for this cheap.


(STF suspension package $1948 new)




- Bilstein SPORT shocks and struts all around ($840 shipped new) - SOLD



- Swift springs (Front: 4.5 kg/mm, -18mm Rear: 5.5 kg/mm, -13mm $399 new) - SOLD



- Vorshlag camber plates (best on the market and has adapters for OEM style springs $479 new) - SOLD



- fatcat motorsport rear bump stops ($60 shipped new) - $40 shipped



- Hochkis SOLID RACE rear bar (no longer sold. 1" solid vs the 1" hollow they sell now $170 new) - SOLD

How big is the rear bar? And is it $150 shipped? I live in NYC.

Price is plus shipping. The bar is a 25.5mm and it's solid. The current bars sold for the mini are nowhere near stiff enough. This one worked but was discontinued.

Are the rear bump stops legal in stock class? i.e., I believe they have to be the same size as stock for them to be legal. PM'd about the struts as well

Everything but bumpstops are sold.

The bumpstops make for a more compliant rear end. This allows for some aggressive rear settings while still making the car VERY drivable at the limit.


OR for the daily driver makes the rear end more comfortable. This is most noticeable with a load in the vehicle when the suspension is more compressed
