Hey guys, I just got done doing the R56S brake conversion on my R53, so I'm now selling my R53 front brake calipers and brake lines.

The calipers and lines are both OEM, and in working order, as I just took them off my R53 this weekend. They were on my car for 80K miles. The calipers come with both the caliper and the brake carriers for both sides. The lines are banjo style, and come with the necessary bolts/washers for both sides.

I also just finished giving the calipers a second coat of red paint. I painted them while on the car probably 10K miles ago, so they are not fully painted (I could not reach everywhere on the caliper). After the touch up coat this weekend, everything visible when they are on the car is now painted, and the paint is much neater, but there are still some areas that I left unpainted. Feel free to slap another coat of paint on there if you want.

I also have a set of front OEM brake pads that are probably half-used. I can throw those in too if you want them.

Prequa, you may want to hold onto them so if/when you sell the MINI you can throw them back on and sell the R56S set up. Those will be more sought after. That is what I am going to do. I am hoping to have my R56S calipers done and installed by next weekend.

 

Might be able to unload them on Ebay, I have had luck there when having trouble selling an item on the forum.
