Factory JCW Exhaust wanted

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $450
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R56
Location (Region): NorthEast
Item Condition: Used

Looking for a factory JCW exhaust system, including the midpipe and muffler sections. Its for a driver, just want to find something that is quieter than the Stratmosphere but not silent like the factory MCS.

Have fun,
Mike

Good luck man! I've been looking for awhile but I'm gonna buy the muffler from ECS tuning and get a mid pipe put on. If all else fails, it's only $442 on their website.

I was trolling on here for a while looking for one, then I picked up a Stratmosphere. Just after I got that, somebody put up a WTB thread and got some hits. So, I thought I would give it a try. If I don't have any luck, I will keep the money in the bank, at least until I figure out another way to spend it.....

I did forget how quiet the stock MCS is, though. ECS is a good place to deal with, I've also gotten stuff from Sewell, another sponsor here (and they give a NAM discount). I have heard that some of the mufflers don't come with tips, so make sure you get what you are expecting.

Have fun,
Mike

I agree, I will make sure because ECS tuning said the tips are integrated on the muffler, it's a revised part but depends it could take 3-5 days to get or wait might be 3-5 weeks or something like that they said to get it from Europe.

Rob, I have said it before, the factory JCW exhaust doesn't have removable tips, so make sure you aren't getting the stage 1 JCW exhaust. Do I need to take a pic of the integrated tips for you?

I have the exact part number from Sewell. It's a little cheaper and it's the FJCW muffler with integrated tips. They told me that the stage 1 JCW muffler comes with the whole mid section and tips to put on for $670 or something.

So you are buying the official factory muffler from Sewell then?

Yes, and it's $446 shipped and 5% discount NAM member.

I'm gonna order it as soon as I figure out my issue on my valve cover with MINI USA($450 problem lol).

Man, you guys are killing me. I get an email hoping for someone to say 'yep, got one to sell', but it is good details to understand. It's odd how different some of these configurations are, and how many people want to go to the factory stuff.

Rob,
I've got a set of N14 VC gaskets if that is your only issue, you can have them. I'm guessing that since you are working with MINI that it is more than just an oil leak.

PM me. I have one from my 2009 JCW in my garage. I took it off in February of 2012. It has about 28,000 miles on it. I am just north of NYC.

Yep, price is right, now just got to figure out a day to drive 6 hours to get it.

I guess if it was easy, it would have happened before.
