Morristown MINI
I can only tell you about mail order
I have bought several items from Morristown Mini (and I am in Reno NV!) during their 20% off sale this summer. Service was excellent and the items were shipped post haste
and mine were shipped free of charge. I bought floor mats, windscreen, badge holders and a Union Jack mirror cover. 20% off and free shipping, not even my dealer here in town could match that price.
That's where my family got both of our MINIs!! I have no complaints; the service department does a very good job on whatever you need, including free car washes. Just make sure you schedule an appointment first because it sometimes gets busy. I still talk with my salesman Jerry, and another guy named Dave, both of whom are very professional and good guys to talk to.
Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Feel free to PM if you want to know anything else.

I took my '05 MCS there for its 10K checkup, right after I purchased it used. The service guys were great, they gave me the straight scoop on some accessories I was looking at -even pointing me towards some aftermarket driving lights that were betted than the OEM ones. Highly recommend them. If you want a mini loaner while your ride is in for service, you may need to give them a week to lock one in.
I had gone through the process of looking at a new Mini with them, but they gave me a really lowball price on my trade-in, so I decided to go the "gently used" route instead (and I got it quicker)

Oh My.. Motown Mini!!!
Yeah..It's like my second home!!
Not that I or my mini have problems, but I grew up in nearby Madison, so I know the area. Even though I don't live close..I still went there instead of Princeton( which is closer), to order my MINI.

THe sales guys are pretty good, tho they dont have any inventory.. maybe one MC.. I wasn't even able to test drive a cooper s.. they only had a cooper in manual. :( ..not too much room for bargain..but i guess thats with all minis..
I have both good and bad to say. Here is the bad.
I had a few delivery issues with mine; whoever they had install the driving lamps before the delivery did a lousy job and they had to be re-done, more than once (and I got a paint chip on my passemger door while it was in their possession for this work, although they did repair it, very professionally at least). The biggest drag is I live about 20-25 miles away, depending on the route taken, and I probably have put on a few hundred miles driving back and forth in the first few months. Now the good.
I agree with cycleguru about who should work on your car there (Irving, although I actually thought it was "Ervin"); he is a perfectionist and a stand-up guy. He saw the driving lamps and wanted to strangle whoever had installed them. He got things straightened out for me and he and the service department were gracious in making it up to me for the aggravation of the hassels. They allowed me the internet pricing on all the parts and the accessories that I added and the installation costs, both for stuff I bought through them, as well as elsewhere, were very fair. On balance they came out favorably and at this point I'd use them again and again (I just wish they were closer; I'd rather put fun miles on the car than these sort). Irving/Ervin is definitely the mechanic to see; he's the man!

Ed is the sales manager and a great guy.
Bryan is a salesman that really understands the MINI brand and product.
Irving is the head service technician (I think service manager) and is grade A.
Irving is a great reason to purchase the car from Morristown. Make sure you meet him on your visit to the location.
Good luck.

I am dealing with both Mrristown, and Prestige as of now to get the best deal on a new 06 MCS, and I feel that Prestige seems to be ooffering better deals right now because they have a larger inventory to unload.
Just purchaes an 06 MCS from Morristown MINI, they counter matched the price from Prestige for the most part, and they did'nt try to oversell me on crap useless services and contracts. They gave me $1200 less than KBB on my trade and I was'nt upside down on it either. I am just hoping that their service, and ability to give good will repairs is up to par with Honda.
I have nothing but praise for the place. I live on Staten Island and have to drive 35 miles ONE way to get to them. I could use Manhattan Mini (yeah, fat chance) but prefer to deal with Morristown. What does this tell you? The saleswoman I am dealing with is not only great on the eye, but she really knows the product. I haven't met the service man named Ervin yet (but plan to on my next visit) but have met with the sales manager Ed just yesterday. He actually came over to me and asked me if i was happy with the event and the new 07 S and went as far to tell me why Mini doesn't really take money off of the sticker prices. I could understand, but me being the never trusting New Yorker still believes there has to be some wiggle room in there someplace. In any event, I am HIGHLY recommending the place.
Is this the closest MINI dealer to Linden NJ? Im asking because i just moved down here to North Jersey myself. I drove by some BMW dealer on rte 22, and they are close to me but it appears they are BMW only there.
You are located in the middle of Princeton MINI (Central NJ) and Morristown (North) so you can probably check out both of them. Prestige is going to be longer drive. hope this info helps.
