SoCal Night Owl Rally - NEW DATE 3/18/06!

UPDATE: 3/18/06 SoCal Night Owl Rally - NEW DATE AND PLACE!
The Night Owl Rally date and location has changed!
I have had a LOT of enquiries so it looks as though this rally is going to be big. This run is definitely one for the insomniacs amongst us with the hours being approximately 7-8pm until midnight. But it will be worth it! Note: Although I am a member of both SCMM and MOALA, this is not officially associated with either club.
THE GOOD NEWS: We are now going to keep it coastal and within the South Bay and Orange County area. Most locals will be somewhat familiar with the route. We are going to meet between 7 and 8pm (evening) at Ricky and Ronnie's. I am going to leave a few surprises out but the basic route as it stands is going to go from R&R's in Torrance, across the Vincent Thomas Bridge to the Queen Mary, through Long Beach with a few stops along the way, into Huntington Beach and possibly Newport, then to Shorehouse Café in Seal Beach for a late dinner where will give out awards and host the raffle. We have lots of nice raffle prizes and very fun stuff, so please try to make it. I realize it may be far for many to drive, and that it may be past many of your bedtimes (it is mine!) But I guarantee a good time will be had by all.
At the end of the run, we will meet at a 24-hour restaurant at which point we will deal each participant the final card. At exactly midnight, we will open the envelopes and the best hand will win half of all the after-expense entry fees paid by the participants. The other half will go to a charity. We are also going to have a raffle in which several very nice prizes will be given out.
If any vendors are interested in sponsoring the event and/or donating prizes, please contact me.
I have had a great response and expect this to be BIG. If you intend to participate in the rally, please let me know so I can get you on the mailing list. It is open to all Minis and MINIs. If you would like to participate - and to get email updates - Email me at: inim_mini@yahoo.com
Thanks.
