I'd love to help you, but I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about

I just wanted to reply because otherwise you might think no one was reading

I ordered mine from here last week:

http://www.obd-interface.de/pages/shop_eng/

It should arrive in another week or so from Germany.

I too have been considereing doing the MTH thing. THere is a Canadian company linked in the MTH thread in the Engine and Drivetrain forum that is about the same cost with quicker shipping.

That black box is a conversion from the OBD to the serial (com) port of your pc. You then hook your pc to this cable and using software flash your ecu.

Sure wish I would have seen this post earlier. I am located an hour away from you (rutherfordton) and am probably heading to charlotte this weekend. It's probably best that you went ahead and purchased the cable so you are able to reflash at any time.

Thanks Spillman for the thought and I thought about it that way due to the fact that I will have to read the data and send it to Franz then load the data back on when he send me the file so after thinking about it I figured it would be more trouble to borrow one than to buy one. We will have to hook up some time and motor Spill since you live so close.

Kenny,

Could you bring some of your research to the pulley party? I went through a few pages of the MTH thread and I think I understand what this is all about, but would love to hear your thoughts and maybe see the software and it's applications.

I was hoping the demo download was still there so that I could see what it's all about, but nope.
