Tuning the Mini

Role Call for people who tune their minis in the club?

Bueller... Bueller... Bueller?
The only one I have met is Garcia.
Oh yeah and I believe Moorlockx had some stuff done to.

Speaking of that. I gotta hit you on IM / AIM about the car.
I think I want some M7 Springs, but don't know which pulley to go for.

Later

Moorlockx installed a magnaflow exhaust.. Sounds really sweet, too! I did the extensive and really difficult mod of installing a K&N air filter.. A little improvement in performance, but nothing spectacular..

Performancewise, I've got the H&R springs, RDR swaybar, slotted rotors, Mintex pads, Madness intake with airbox mod, and aftermarket pedals.

Aestheticswise, there's the chrome trim rings, custom stripe, Cibie lights, Team Dynamics rims, tint all the way around, custom screens for the hood scoop and P/S fan, under hood paint, custom camera mount, parcel tray, hot pocket, and, of course, my rear deck sticker.

I guess you could say it's kind of my own.

There are lots of MINIs in the area that have been mod'ed. Maybe we are bashful

Myself... not as much as Moorlockx -
19% Helix Pulley
Ireland Engr Rear Sway Bar
EBC Brake Pads
Helix Short Shifter
K&N Filter (<1HP gain)
Rear Fog Lamps enabled
Brake light mod with Diodes
Parcel Shelf
Xtra Sunroof switch for Garage Door Opener
LightInSight
Sat Radio into Aux-in
and 2 dragon stickers on the rear

Last edited by Mini03Tiger84; Nov 1, 2004 at 09:34 AM. Reason: forgot the short shifter

I was kind of thinking about it. I talked to George the other day and he spoke highly of it. I just don't know if I need any more storage. What I have already seems to fit my needs.

SoCar, who are you talking about? i don't modify my car, i don't have anything done to it........

http://www.thenewfastlane.com/project.asp

i would NEVER cut apart any of my stock parts.........

http://www.thenewfastlane.com/intake.asp

haha

oh yeah, i forgot to say, if any locals are interested in that intake, i can do it for them (obviously showing them mine first) for a VERY reasonable price.... we all know how expensive the S intakes are, that's why i posted how to make your own for free, but some don't want to / have the time or skill or tools to do this mod, and i will be glad to do it for them, granted they sign their lives away and promise not to come back at me when it comes time to "turn their car back to stock...." yeah, good like with my car!!

just kidding about the signing your life away - the verbal contract will be sufficient!
