Has anyone ever thought of planning a Drive-In night?

The movie Cars 2 is coming out on June 24.

Anyone interested in seeing it at a Drive-In?

 

That'd be cool. Will it be showing at the drive in in Shelby?

 

Not sure but I am sure they will be.
If there is a nicer drive-in in Charlotte that would be ok too.

I'd love to see it but I'm in Chicago that weekend. I'd love for us to have a MINI night at one of the drive-ins. We did it in SC and it made for great pics and lots of conversation before the movie started. Let's do it!

 

It doesn't have to be opening night...any night is good!

We did one in AZ when the original cars came out. We got a little pool and filled it up with ice and had everyone bring drinks... Alcohol too...LOL... to put in the pool. We had a great time!

Dont think there are any drive-ins left in Charlotte. only ones I know of are in Shelby and Albemarle.

 

Well then I guess everyone might have to come out my way...LOL

 

I live in Albemarle and the drive in here is pretty nice.....

not sure of which ones are still open or not but they do have phone numbers. I will call them tomorrow and check.

Not sure if you saw my previous post..... The one in Albemarle is open and it has two screens. The owner is a little wacky, but who isn't anymore.

Yes I saw your post... I just thought I would look up others to see where they were. Albermarle is about an hour and 45 minutes away. Not that I mind that... I love to drive my car!!

 

I was going to one in New Jersey but it got rained out last Friday and reschedule for this Monday and they had over 200 mini's show up. Prestige Mini who sponsored it had Tee Shirts made up and they are sending me one, as we went to the theater the next day, it was closed but took pics saying we were there but not able to come on monday night.

 

The Belmont Drive in is opening this Friday, 7/1.

Are you kidding? Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I'm wacky too, sometimes mistaken for a little off my rocker. But, the people who know me and understand me seem to love me.
