Hey everyone.......the third Saturday is rapidly approaching, so for our June Meet 'n Eat, we will gather at Punchy's Diner in Concord, NC. It's a fun place with a pretty cool atmosphere, and the food's not bad either! Here's the dope:

Directions for Punchy's are, head north on Hwy. 29, and go about 6 1/2 miles past Charlotte Motor Speedway, Punchy's Diner is on the right side. If you get to the traffic light at Poplar Tent Road, you've gone slightly too far.

We'll meet on Tuesday, 6/15, between 6:30 and 6:45, and then eat around 7:00. This is a fun place with a neat atmosphere and great food!! If you come out, you won't be disappointed!!

Did Punchy's move? Google maps has them at 5111 Davidson Highway sitting behind a Shell gas station. Check out this link.

I tried to copy paste here, but the Google Map would paste the map you posted. Very strange. To get the correct map you have to enter the street address. It's still pointing to the wrong building. It's the one just past it with all the cars.

 

That's a second location in a gas station, nothing like the original. Wish I could go, but you'll have fun.

 

Yeah, Chris, that's an additional location (kind of like a satellite location). The address I gave is the original Punchy's, and it's much larger, nicer, has a much more complete menu, and cooler atmosphere. Go with the address I put in.

 

I'll be there and hopefully Jamie will be able to make it with me.

 

I plan on coming this evening.
