The tune is looking good. @Lou@Prototype-R has done a fantastic job. I think now that we have something stable, we'll try to squeeze every last ft-lbs out of that turbo.

Had a blast at Atlanta Motorsports Park. Lots of video and photos to edit now.

AMP is definitely a track that keeps your hands full. Running 30-minute sessions was pretty demanding, but it was an absolute riot.

Welcome back to the track with your MINI!

Those are some fancy helmets, with communication plugs and whatnot.. Nice.

Is that a coach or instructor in with you?

Looking forward to your videos and pictures...

PS: Just got back from 3 days at Watkins Glen...

She's my co-pilot in life. We're finally back to driving and shooting, so 2023 is looking really good!

Sorry to post to the thread but I’m having issues with the seat occupancy and airbag codes on my 08 r56 and am wondering if there’s any way you could help with the coding process. I’m new to playing with Euro cars and am not even sure what to get to tune/code them. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I’m not opposed to compensating you for your time.

First Post! Welcome to NAM and the crazy wacky world of MINIs.

For tuning - the easiest is to send your ECU to someone like Way Motors. Next is a custom tune that is done via the internet. Off hand, I don’t remember the person’s name who does this but I have read nothing but great results from what that person does. If I can figure out who it is, I’ll post. Of maybe someone will chime in with his name.

As for air bags, there are posts about a resister setup that will mimic the air bag.

For the occupancy sensor, there are electronic modules that you can buy on Ebay that will mimic the one in the car. If you go that route you will need to have a dealer or the like to code it to the car, the same as you would need to do if you put a newor different MINI seat in the car, that did originally come in the car. Another option is to take the one out of the OEM seat that came in the car, plug it in and tie it down under whatever seat you are putting in. Third option of to get a coding program, which I think is call NCS Expert. There is a whole thread on NAM dedicated to how to use that program.

Hopefully that is a start.

Welcome to the world of MINIs. Here's how I coded out my airbags and occupancy sensor: Interior/Exterior Coding Race Seats, Buckets, whatever, error free

Good luck!

Scotty - Wow - good to know you are still around! How about a quick update about what’s been happening with you and the MINI. I see your Canejo Motorsports. My guess that is new.
