TIA
Have you checked out this thread? The Blitzsafe unit w/ XM Direct works very well. I only run my iPod thru the Aux port so I can't comment on how well it works having the iPod in the boot.

I think teh key is needing to make sure you get the XM Direct with the CD changer input as well. You plug the XM Direct into the current changer input, then the iPod would go into the input on the XM Direct harness. I would check with someplace theat sells the XM Direct like www.myradiostore.com or www.radiosandmore.com and ask about it. You can even try Blitzsafe, they have a Forum on their site.

Update....
Talked with the people at myradiostore.com about having both my IPod and XM radio work together. They said it can be done, but with some modifications. Placed an order for the Terk XM receiver and the BlitzSafe XL03 adapter (total $219.00 including S&H).
After nearly 3 weeks of waiting, BlitzSafe sent me their XL03 version of the adapter.
Here's what I did to have both the XM Satellite radio and the factory IPod adapter work together:
1) Remove down tubes, cup holders blah..blah...blah
2) Remove head unit
3) Disconnect IPod adapter and wiring
4) Connect original wiring adapter (white colored) to the left lower corner on the head unit
4) Connect the IPod adapter to the BlitzSafe adapter which in turn is connected to the CD changer wiring harness
5) Tidy everything up
Now my 'Mode' button works like this
FM/AM Radio -> CD (head unit) -> Satellite Radio ->IPod adapter ->FM/AM Radio
Yippee!! Now methinks I have the best of all worlds....a MINI to drive in, my IPod or XM radio!!!!!
