Passenger Side Front Rattle

If i pull the base of the CV Axle (the part closest the transmission) towards the wheel and push toards the transmission it rattles and moves roughly a 32/100 of that. Up and down and side to side very minimal. Is this normal?

Yes, CV joints do have some axial play to them (i.e.- in/out), but it should be limited. The CV shaft is fixed on the hub/wheel end and 'floats' in the transmission. If your number of 32/100 (0.320") is correct, you may have a worn/damaged CV, but I don't know what our CV specs actually are so you may need to do some more research. Your rattle is likely something else in the front suspension, check your ball joint and sway bar link, as I feel they are the most likely culprits. It could be your lower a-arm bushings or possibly your hub bearing. Good luck and let us know what you find.
