There is a rattle in my car that I can hear only at low rpms, and in stop and go traffic it drives me nuts. It sounds like it is coming from somewhere behind the passenger dash maybe airbag area... anyone else have any issues with this?

my rattle is left of the speedo.

take everything out of the glove and secret compartment and then have a passenger lean in and listen to where it's coming from, then isolate further.

 

I had a plastic-on-plastic squeaking that was from the passenger side dashboard, the round pod that houses the right vent. To confirm if this is your issue, have a passenger check out that area while you drive. I took it to the dealer, and they fixed it. It always helps with a dealer if you can narrow-down the source of the rattle/squeak. I had it fixed a few months ago, it hasn't come back since.

 

I had a vibration issue from that area since day one.
After putting some foam in the ipod box all was quiet.
