Oil Drain Plug Size?

I'm kinda hopeless on some things, and the metric sizing is one of them. I'm considering this thing:

Amazon Amazon

Their info says it will fit as M16x1.5, but I see mostly M14x1.5 listed as the size for the R55 drain plug. I have a 2010 R55 Clubman Justa 6-speed. - will M16x1.5 fit?

Learn to use realoem.com. Input your vin then look up part numbers. Then use google to search for parts.

Some owners favor those types of drain "plugs". I prefer to stick with the tried and true original type/style of drain plug.

I did look at RealOEM and am very familiar with it, but unlike my BMW's, length and thread pitch aren't noted in the parts description. And what I found was a bit various.

Accurate. Use REALOEM to find part number. Use part number and google to get specifications.

REALOEM won't give you the specs.
