F60 Wind booster
Wind booster
Based upon the very poor English writing/editing skills, copious marketing drivel with no dyno runs or other "proof" of improved throttle response, I wouldn't touch it with a 100 foot pole.
Did anyone else read that in a Chinese accent?
Seriously, what is this? ebay.com/wish? this is probably some Chinese attempt to monitor us and collect surveillance data on Americans. I know that sounds crazy, but why do think Huawei phones were banded in the US?
I have a friend that had one and every time the camera was covered, a message would appear instructing him to uncover the camera or the phone won't unlock.
Besides, I'm against putting unknown ebay crap in my car. If I can't afford the real thing, I don't need it. I'd rather pay for peace of mind then have to buy a new car because a was trying to save a few bucks

Just get a sprintbooster or remus unit. Those are the 2 units we have seen work. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-sprint-b...-parts/v-mini/ or https://www.ecstuning.com/b-remus-pa...r/r903702~rms/
I heard people talk about that unit but never seen anyone use it in a MINI.

Bumping this old thread to report on my experience. I bought this from Amazon -
. Its a knockoff Cammus Wind Booster, which itself is a concept knockoff Sprint Booster/Pedal Commander. I picked this one because its 1. cheap, 2. Prime, so easy returns if it turned out to be garbage, 3. it lists more features than either the Sprint Booster or Pedal Commander, 4. it looks better than both of them so if I had to have the screen installed at least I could live with its design.
Long story short, it works as advertised. I can now adjust my pedal anywhere from stock to feather trigger. I run it on Sport +7 and it gives me the closest feeling to the ECU-tuned Focus I drove before. I know the arguments against these devices, like just push the pedal harder, but I'm not that kind of driver. I like small foot movements and I like the car to respond more up front. Its how I've always driven and I can't train myself out of it now.
Another issue this device solves is the stop sign hesitation. Before the LPP my car would almost bog down on a quick stop then shoot forward as I gave it more gas to make it actually move. Now its a smooth transition from braking to a stop, come off the brake, lightly touch the gas to trigger forward motion. My wife even noticed the difference. She wouldn't drive my car because her Grand Cherokee pedal is nearly instant response. Taking her Jeep trained foot into my car resulted in her lurching the car forward as she puts down the pressure, the car doesn't move like she expects it to, so she puts down more pressure and the car jumps forward from the boost dump.
That being said, there is one serious issue I didn't discover until I got a new phone. While the device still works and you don't actually need the screen part installed in the car because you can connect to it via Bluetooth, it appears the first device you connect to it will also be the last. When you get these kinds of off-brand items you get what you pay for. There is no support network. There doesn't appear to be a way to clear previous Bluetooth pairings from the device itself, so it can't connect to my new phone.
Luckily for me I'm happy with the current settings and I don't often change them. I still can make changes if I connect the screen, but I wanted a stealth install. I complained to the manufacturer and got no response. So be aware that if you buy one of these you're pretty much on your own for support.

I’ve got a sprintbooster V3 on mine, very happy with the change. Well built product, does what it says on the box. I expected to have to run it on “high” to get the desired effect, but “RACE 4” is more than enough imo.
occasionally they pop up for sale on here, but you don’t save much vs new. If you get it and don’t like it, you should be able to resell here for most of what you paid.
