I've had my 21' JCW Countryman a few months now and while it was a change coming from Audi I've loved the drive and the feel of the MINI.
I've currently got it in thunder gray but seriously want it wrapped in black then maybe the following..
To Do:
-- Wrapped roof bars black
-- Wrapp the door sills from silver to black
-- Calipers painted to a light shade of gold-- Alloys change to OZ Racing black 18's maybe? Currently 19' but I like the look of a thicker tyre and the idea of reduced curb damage.
-- Roof Bars & Mini Topbox-- Front grille lights (rally style)
-- mudflaps OEM or Rally?
Already done :
-- Dechromed the chrome ring around the outside of the card.
-- sprayed the JCW chilli red grill line and side scuttles satin black.
-- tinted black side repeaters
As it's a newer bodykit of the JCW I dont know how easy it is going to be to source mudflaps or grill lights. Even how I'd get them installed. Anyone got any advice on any of the above?
Just ordered a set of PIAA LP560’s (6” led) and the cravenspeed rally light mounts. Should be here in a week or so. Will let you know how they turn out!
saw another post on here that the 5” PIAA’s that are more common on other MINIs might be a bit small for the larger countryman styling.
i mentioned this to cravenspeed on the phone today. Perhaps they’ll start stocking both sizes of lights in the future?
very easy, there is instructions on Cravenspeed. If you will look up their PIAA lights, it will have an instructions section. Only 3 wires…1 to + battery terminal, 2 to - Battery post, 3, one wire to fuse box.
