Has anyboddy tried the new Sprint Booster? How did it work? Is it worth the money? Thanks for any comments.

I've had mine about three weeks, love it.

Three settings: A. Off. B. Green and C. Red.. I leave mine on Red. The giddyup looks to be a jump and sustain of 2k RPM+

Cost for all was around $400.

Worth it, yes, but YMMV literally and figuratively..

I tried it on my 2010 justa about a yr ago but decided it wasn't for me. At $100, I might have kept it; but I just didn't see $300+ in value. After playing with it by turning it off and on as I drove, I found I could pretty much duplicate the Sprint Booster with a more aggressive throttle foot. I returned mine under the 30 day guarantee (be aware your trial period begins when the item is shipped to you). Do a search and you'll find lots of folks with a love/hate opinion of the SB. Give it a try if you can still find someone offering a money back guarantee.

You might want to also consider the D1 Spec throttle controller. It's available from eBay and A&J Racing for about $150 delivered. It appears to do everything the Sprint Booster does for half the price. I haven't tried it but it's been reviewed favorably here and many of the other car forums.

Very satisfied with Sprint Booster

I have a one month old 2012 straight MINI and I love the car but the acceleration lag, especially downshifting, was infuriating me. I read on here about the product and ordered one which I installed yesterday. The off setting I would never drive my car on, the green setting is an improvement over stock, and the red setting makes the car fly. 0-60 is much faster although of course there is no torque or HP gains. My car is now how I think it should come from the factory.

I have had mine on for almost a year. AMAZING product. The only complaint 99% of the time is that it is costly.

IMO! The ones who say "just psuh the pedal harder" are ones who might of ever used one, or could not get use to it because of how sensitive they make the pedal.

Sometimes this isn't even a factor. I really noticed the problem when I'd be coming off the highway and had a green light. Usually I downshift into third approaching the turn, then tap the accelerator pedal the rev match and drop it into second, before braking if needed, etc. The tap would actually hit the floor with the pedal but there would be little or no response from the throttle. How much harder can one tap?
