All aluminum radiator option

So after looking at the radiators offered in FCP euro I see an all aluminum radiator option for my 2012 R60.. if I currently have the radiator with the composite ends but want to switch to the all aluminum radiator will I need bracket extensions to be able to mount it?

Hello,

https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2012-...ling/Radiator/

Do you have a Countryman S ALL4 ? The factory ones are all metal?

If you need anything let me know.

Mine is not the All 4 model.. so I'm going to say it won't be a bad idea to put the all aluminum one in though.. and I've noticed a "buzzing" like sound from what seems like the aux water pump area after I turn the car off. I release the pressure from via the expansion tank and it fades away.. so if I read certain posts people were saying it's a sign that the boost solenoid valve is starting to go.. ??

Hello, So you just have the S model? They are all metal also. Just watch for the auto vs the manual versions.

That buzzing noise if you a have an S is from the aux water pump that turns on after you shut the car down. Its normal.

Buzzing from the front is usually the aux pump. Did you check it below.

When its the aux pump is on the pump itself and you can hear it: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ng-engine.html

On the kazoo noise from that unit its this 11657599547 : https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ing-off-2.html
