Turbo hose kit for N18???

I've been looking for a decent kit to replace my existing hoses. The closest thing I can find is THIS. Unfortunately it only fits the N14, not my N18. Does anyone know of a similar kit for N18's?

Wow... 300+ views but no answer. That blows.

Can anyone at least fill me in as to why the N14 kit doesn't fit the N18 setup? Maybe it's a simple mod to fix the issue.

Shouldn't be anything different, all of the piping is the same, intercooler is the same, only thing different is some cars don't have the noise maker that enters the cabin.

Its due to the noise making behind the intake manifold. This Kit was made to work with the noise maker equipment back there. It is not meant to be a noise maker delete. So you would be paying for hoses you would not be able to use.

My N18 DOES have the noisemaker... I would just modify the new kit to not have it anyways. Is that the only difference? Outmotoring made it sound like the kit would flat out not fit the N18. Like the fittings are different or have been moved. I wasn't aware of any changes like that between the N14 and N18.

The valve cover is different for the N18. Maybe the pcv port from the cover to the turbo pipe is in a different place.

That would be one difference as to why it won't fit.

The Samco hose kit wouldn't work for you because you don't have the noise maker.
So you can do the Turbo Discharge pipe. I prefer the hard NM pipe.

http://www.waymotorworks.com/nm-disc...ipe-black.html

or the Forge hose

http://www.waymotorworks.com/forge-r...lete-hose.html

Then if you want to replace the Turbo outlet you need to use the Forge kit

http://www.waymotorworks.com/forge-s...rbo-hoses.html

Or you can leave the rubber on the outlet of the turbo and just do the aircharge pipe from the crossover to the throttle body.

There is not a replacement for the N18 turbo inlet hose due to the sensors and the pcv system hook up. But there really is nothing to gain from replacing that hose.

But I DO have the noisemaker. I have visually confirmed it... I want it gone.

My 2011 MCS has a build date of Oct 6, 2010.

I'm not looking to replace that part. There isn't much of an issue since MINI switched to the hard plastic over rubber.

That is a late car to have a noise maker. Skip on the Samco still as it just replaces the hose to the sound maker with a samco hose. Go with the NM kit is has a hard pipe and eliminates the sound maker all together. Plus it's a hard pipe so no flex there.

Centium whats the last 7 digits of your Vin? I have heard of people adding the noisemaker for post 6/2010 because they like the cabin noise.

They must have delayed the part update on the production line for a couple months ( never updated the ETK ) or someone added if after it was bought. Are you the original owner. Thanks for the info.

I'm not the original owner. I bought it from a family friend at 33,000 miles for $14K. She never did ANYTHING to it other than regular maintenance.
