R56 Wheel Size Question
I'll jump in here and make a few assumptions.........
I had these on my Electra Townie 21 speed, 21" out of San Diego, Ca.
We mostly went on paved pathways and stayed away from the crushed gravel paths.
I kept them at around 65 psi and felt the ride was smoother than 60 psi as recommended.
The wife liked the look also...so that was a plus.
So.......I say if your on a 21" they should be fine.

I just got a set of 17x7 XXRs ET35. I have a 13' S with stock suspension, they definitely stick out more than the stock rims haha I like the look though, but do I have any fitment issues? no. and with yours being ET38 they wont come out as far. just be careful with the width. im lowering mine with H&R springs soon ill let you know how they fit then
I have 16x7 +42 with 205/50 16 tires and although it looks like there's another 4 mm room
to go out further, TireRack lists the BBS RGR in 17x7 +38 for the MINI MCS, but they also state:
"MAY REQUIRE MODIFICATION TO THE REAR PLASTIC FENDER LINER. Use 205/45-17 for best fit."

You'd probably be OK. 205s would be better. You might rub some on big bumps but eventually the tire will rub through the fender liner where appropriate. The rear would be the concern. If you email NM Engineering they might be able to help you out.
