Just purchased PIAA wiper blades for my roadster. The R56 uses a hook and loop style of wiper. My car uses a BMW E60 style wiper. So my question is did anyone replace the wipers on a roadster and what did you use?.

 

The dealer did mine with OEM parts at the regular service.

 

The PIAA wipers don't work on our cars. It looks like the only wipers that work other then stock is Rain X.

 

I discovered that the Bosch Icon OE 20 and OE 21 fit. Pull the plastic cover off and discard it.

 

Talking about wiper blades, ours often shutters a lot . . . are the aftermarket ones any better in that regards?

 

Have not used them much but so far no shuddering.

 

Just replace with the OEM ones or SWF / valeo , and make sure the window is clean. Had mine done and no issues. Replace them about once a year. Also those blades are ultra flat aero blades and don't whistle .

My 2013 Cooper S doesn't have the hook and have had a hell of a time trying to find the right blade that fits (bought the car 2 weeks ago). Does your wiper arm look like the attached photos?
