My First MINI/BMW Dealership Experience

I ventured out to my local Mini/BMW dealer for the first time
yesterday. I was there to buy just a $7 part at the part's
department. While the parts guy was in the back looking, the
hostess came over to me and asked if I would like a cappuccino
or a cold soda while I waited. Wow, I have never been treated
that well at any dealership, ever, even when I was buying a new
car (and not just a $7 part).

Must be in the BMW part of the store!

Our MINI dealer does offer free popcorn and sodas tho.

And extremely good service, which is what's really important.....

So there's a barista on duty? Cool!
Or is it just a "gas station" style cappuccino?

My dealer even has Ice Cream.

I will stop by my dealer if I'm going past or in the area for a visit, A cup of coffee, cookies or some nice cold Ice Cream.

It is a very friendly place and my dog Mario is always welcome.

Is there one in Daytona or do you go to Jacksonville? We bought our 05 from Jacksonville Mini from Amy Johnson.

Wondering if she was still there......?

I go to Orlando Mini

I bought my JCW at Orlando Mini. It was called Downtown Mini but that was when they were actually in down town Orlando. They now have a very large brand new facility off I-4 just a little east of Orlando.

I am not sure who a barista is, but I assume if I accepted the offer, the hostess would have made a cup for me. They had a Starbuck kind-of setup, including having those bottles that look like booze, but I think are the flavorings. If you can't tell, I am not a Starbucks type of person.

Yeah seems to be a trend in upgrades to service area waiting rooms. Ice cream seems to be popular new item, know of 3 places doing that now in SLC.

Maybe I can talk the Milwaukee dealership into offering beer and brats! (though I don't really like the taste of beer; maybe a good cappuccino and brats)

That's great, but a more important question, was the hostess hot?
