Good deal?

I'm getting an 06 MCSa (grey with silver roof) with 10500 miles on it for 20,995 dollars.

premium, sport, and leather equipped and the car is in such a prestine condition that even the "mini cooper s" metal plate sills still have that blue plastic wrap on it.

i think i'm going to pick it up this saturday! good deal?

Sounds like a reasonable price. Not fantastic, but good. Best of luck and be sure to post some pics!

Has the car been repaired? No dealer would let it out with the film still on the plate when it was new. Thats what the dealer prep charge takes of

It happens. Mine came new with the blue on the passenger sill and on all four lug covers. It's still there after 93,000 miles!

Got a VIN? Carfax is not exactly perfect in the IL area, but if the vehicle was ever repaired, repainted, or [totalled?], this would give you an indication. Is the car at a MINI dealer, or a personal sale? If personal sale, ask what dealer the vehicle was bought from, and go talk to that dealer about the vehicle.

Ummm, sorry, but no. Both of my new MINI purchases came with the blue film still on the sill plates and the wheel center caps.

I've been looking for used 05 MCS recently and based on what I've found, the deal looks pretty good. Not sure how the automatics change resale.

make sure you get that carfax to be sure. with a chassis as small as ours you don't want to risk any kind of issues down the road.
