The largest gathering is in May, but there are smaller groups that go up there other times of year. The past few years, I have gone with a small group that goes the weekend before the Miatas show up in July.

Hope to see you there.

Jack,

Just after the nick of time I found some more of the cabrios... Do you still want one?

Also, I found some 1:24 scale "Welly" brand cabrios--1 dark silver, 1 dark blue (space blue mebbe?)... both w/ black interiors. I'll post more pics later tonight. Let me know if you want one of them beceuse they only had 2 of each in all the stores I went to today--keeping 1 of each for myself!

Finally, found some more of teh "Carerra Go!" slot cars--picked up another blue/white stripes one plus a red w/checkerboard roof. They had another of the blue ones there if anyone wants one--$15 Euro IIRC.

What's the scale of the Carerra Go's I'm running a Scalextric in 1:32:

and can always use some less expensive cars for student driving

Your box went out today, wonder how long it'll take to get to you

I definitely want one of the Siku cabrios. How much for the Welly cabrio?

Your box is going out today too. Thanks Rob!

OK... Welly models were 9 Euro (about $13) each--shipping can't be too much as I only spent about $15 shipping 5 boxes today.

I just got one of these on ebay. Have you folks seen this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...DME:B:EF:US:11

And I have been looking at the Darda cars. My son had a set of these when he was younger, They run on a watch battery with a special track and are very fast. They make a Cooper.

http://www.amazon.com/Darda-Die-Cast.../dp/B000GKXG5U

Anyone seen the New Ray models? They make a yellow cabrio. Also, are the Speedeez toy sets still available in Europe?

My son and I were just playing with ours last night!

Have that Darda model as well although my base doesn't have the writing that yours does.

SIKU cabrio's ready to go...do you want teh Welly Cabrio Models as well? Dollars dropping fast against the Euro so you'd better snap 'em up before they cost more!

Like I tell my wife "...Honey, look at how much I saved by buying this!"

I'll take the dark blue Welly. Thanks! How are we going to settle up?

I just noticed you included an extra Siku model. Thanks! Wish I had something with which to reciprocate. I'm sure I'll find something.

There has been a solid gold Kyosho model popping up on ebay with a Buy it Now price of about $55. Isn't that a great deal for a Kyosho? This is the one with the luggage and removable cabrio folded/unfolded top. I have been tempted and wondered why no one is bidding on it. Maybe the color? Any idea how hard it would be to take one of those apart and paint it? I have a can of Liquid Yellow spray paint that is an exact match to my MINI.

Has anyone seen the 1/18 Kyosho MINI One with removable aero kit? Looks like it comes with a second set of wheels, aero kit and driving lights.

I saw one on ebay and then started looking for it. Goes for over $60 most places so I'm hoping to find it for less.

The first one I saw ended up going for $2.35 on eBay. I was watching the auction and got busy leading up to Christmas and forgot to go back. $2.35!!! Kicking myself now. I emailed that dealer (in Canada) to see how much they are if I buy direct. Another dealer has 10 of them up there now for $58 a piece.

Thanks for looking Smokey.

I did come up with this ..............

A new Matchbox MINI is hitting eBay right now, so it should be in the stores any day now.

Looks like a CR/CR. Marked Metal #6 MINI Cooper S

Happy Hunting

Did you see his shipping price?

15 GBP which is about $30 USD, so even though it was a good deal, it wasn't a great deal did that help?

Well yes, thanks for that. I figured $2.35 was too good to be true.

Cars cost me 3 Euro each so ~ $12.50 plus shipping. Thing is I didn't annotate the cost when I shipped 'em all out the other day!

Just add in whatever's on the box when they show up (a couple of bucks IIRC) and PayPal the $$... I'll send you my PayPal account in a bit.

...also, I picked up a couple of cool models today at a toy store that specializes in models for scale railroads, etc... Got a Shuco brand old style Mini "Limited Edition" w/ a neat box and certificate plus a 1:87 scale "herpa" brand new MINI blue cabrio.

I'll post pics later after the camera recharges!

BTW, after scouring the local stores I now have the following spares to sell/trade:

3 of the Matchbox "Stars of Cars" Black w/ grey trim on the bottom
1 Matchbox MCS blue w/ white top and white bonnet stripes (treasure chest pkg)

SIKU models:
4 of the Polizei models
3 of teh red cabrios (after sending Mini Bee his tomorrow)
6 of the Follow Me models
2 of the black w/ Union Jack on the roof
2 of the gold models

...and 1 "Fast Lane" brand 2-Pack (blue and red--both w/ a white roof). I embedded links to the pics where I have them and will update the rest when the camera recharges in a bit. I wanted to offer them here first before I put 'em on e-bay (or so I tell the wife!).
