I second this request. Some of us aren't blessed with the gift of travel.

He came back with some REALLY COOL stuff. I got a magnetic mini-MINI from him. I think it's my favorite little MINI.

Well, I brought back several spares, but no-one was interested in the Cadbury classic delivery vans I paid $20 each for and still have 4 spares of, or the Hot Wheels Super Chrome box sets that I paid $30 each for (plus tax) and have 2 spares of.
I spent close to $300 on Minis and MINIs in Aus while I was there, and enjoy my treasures, but I have a big rubbermaid container of spares that tells me I need to buy far fewer extras for trading.

I set up one of the little MINI Cooper Chase battery-operated slot car sets today. It's pretty cool. It comes with stickers for the MINIs (tail lights, side markers, bonnett and boot badges, etc..)

Here's a little movie clip of my son and I racing. He's driving the Chili Red. Glad it was only a slot car!

MOVIE HERE

Mishka, Smokey and I did some trading last year but I ended up going home with most of my extras. I was thinking it would not only be great to do this but also it would be great to get a die-cast vendor there. Asheville Die Cast is the closest one that stocks a fair amount of MINIs. I think if someone came with a good assortment of the Wal Mart variety and some nicer stuff too they likely would sell a bunch.

I'm interested in the blue convertible. Is it still available? If so, can you let me know how much?

Thanks

Do you have a spare of the GB version of these 1:43 scale "country cars?" Says "made in China" and "used under license" on the bottom of the car... w/ a nearly illegible scrawl that I think says Road Signature(?)

Middle of this pic:

91Eunos, that's not one of my pics. I don't have any of those country cars. The closest things I have are HW sized cars with Japanese and Aussie flags on the roofs. If you run across any, I'd happily trade for them though.

The only color at the SW Plaza (Littleton, CO) Macy's was electric blue/white roof. It's fairly well detailed for an RC car. The mirrors are white, chrome gas cap, chrome around the grille. Great for $20 in my opinion. The car uses 3 AA batteries and the remote uses a 9V battery. The remote has forward, reverse, left and right. Made by Excalibur Electronics. See photo.

It's the only EB scale model of any kind that I've seen with the X-lite wheels...
I found several of these (blue Mini Cooper S) at KBToys priced $19.99. The differences are:

1. Checkered roof
2. 1:18 scale
