I found one in the 1/43 (not sure if that's the right scale, but it's Matchbox sizescale) by the Johnny Lightning series

We have made several orders with an ebay seller from Asia named "Toyeast".

Surprisingly quick shipping and incredibly well packaged.

I'm thinking 1/64th is the HW & JL scale, but for some reason this morning I'm not 100% sure

That color is closer to EB, but they did put out 3 different color variation: EB/W, EB/B and EB/Checker board. Of course they also have White Lightnings in those colors - so I guess that make it 6 variations.

I haven't seen anything close to the HB, yet.

Yucca & Bobbie your packages are going out today. Yucca, I sent you a PM the other day, did you get it?

I've come across more of the HW 2 car packs with the 2006 Mini and the civic and race car versions. Let me know if anyone is interested?

The what now? Race MINI? What do they look like? Are they "regular" HW MINIs in a different package?

Yeah they are the regular 2006 versions but in a double pack. They are combined with a Civic is a sporty color layout and with a race car of some nondescript shape.

I can post a pic or 2 later tonight

Here you go, both versions:

I found them at Target at the checkout lanes. They aren't in the toy department only at the checkouts, at least at our store. They run about $1.99 each

Ok. I need to hit my local Targets. Of course, I'm STILL looking for the recent Matchbox Superfast release, so there are no guarantees.

I have several, I'll have a look in my spares box if you want. You after a particular size? Roof colour?

I have a different Carrera MINI slot car set. It is a John Cooper Challenge set that I picked up over a year ago at a Tuesday Mornings store, but I saw a different set with the same (JCC) cars at a local HobbyTown USA. That set looks like different cars again. Nice find.

Just FYI - that set is 1:43 scale - a bit odd for slot cars and unique to Carrera. It's not a new product, your local hobby shop has had that for over a year...

Do you buy from this place? The prices seem high to me. I've bought Ninco's from my local hobby shop for less than that...

I'd say maybe 6 months ago I won't have a chance to check or local places for another few days.... work schedule is tough right now.

No I haven't bought from that link at all. I merely placed the link to show the variety of slot cars available. I'm not really into slot cars. I much prefer the diecast.

That's not too long ago by Big Lots standards, so I'll have to give a look see. Thanks for the info!

Well the new 07 version is hitting ebay so it should be in the stores around here in a few weeks

Here is a shot of at least a part of the packaging to help with the hunt

Good Luck!

Based on the latest eBay auction I think the car is #37. The auction that the picture I used is from ended with a BIN for $14.99 and 5 bucks shipping. Yup someone paid $20 for a HotWheel that in a few weeks will be all over the place.

There's another on right now with a current bid of $11.50
