MINIMini Toys - Diecast/Models/RC *Caution Lots of photos*
Based on the latest eBay auction I think the car is #37. The auction that the picture I used is from ended with a BIN for $14.99 and 5 bucks shipping. Yup someone paid $20 for a HotWheel that in a few weeks will be all over the place.
There's another on right now with a current bid of $11.50

before doing a MINI.

Well, now I have to apologize to everyone for inviting you to join our thread Ken. Good work
Your first post and you kick our backsides with stuff we'll never get.

Nice stuff
, what's the color of the MINI? Looks a little like eb?

Nice stuff
Will it have a different paint job than the white one we've seen, as is usually the case with K-Day cars?
Back on page 24 of this thread I saw photos of die cast Minis purchased at Big Lots. I went to my local Big Lots this afternoon (11/21/06), but could only find a 1:18 scale Austin Powers movie edition Mini. I purchased it anyway.
My latest addition:
1:43 Autoart.

The brake rotors and calipers are separtes parts and the rotors actually turn with the wheels.

The details is just about perfect. But there's a couple of faults. The dash is the older 5 piece design, the tweeters are missing and no antenna. Other than that, it's much better than the one made by Minichamps.

1:43 Autoart

I got the green cabrio and the blue Cooper S a while ago. The white bonnet stripes on the coupe were added on. I'm planning to add a set of black stripes to the red cabrio later.

I just completed a Fujimi S model kit. Color is orange with an iridescent clear coat. The scoop, headlamp rings, rear spoiler and front splitter are covered with carbon fiber decals. The sunroof is a single pane of "glass" in the kit, but I cut it and scratchbuilt the underpinnings to make an open roof. My goal was to create the ultimate Dragon Runner!

^^^ Wow nice work!

I've got a friend really into building models of older cars, lots of research to get everything right and lots of fab work. I admire folks that can do that level of detail.
Me; I measure with a micrometer, mark with a grease pencil, cut with an axe and caulk to fit!

Your comment reminds me of something I saw hand-lettered on the trunk of an old Nova drag racer long ago;
"Measure with a yardstick, mark it with chalk, cut it with a torch"
Hey Bobbie !!!
Need some help
Should I open it

Or leave it alone
Found it at Target today. It was knocked off the peg and on the shelf behind some other stuff. Number on the back is: CKJVUFFH
Still looking for the poptop, but I haven't made it to K-Mart yet, that's on tomorrows list of exciting things to do

I need your snail mail address

I found 2, I think they might be a bit bigger then 1:32, there are no markings. The only info on them is for ages 8+, you qualify don't you?
One is a pearl white with black seat and the other is a metalic BRG & tan seat. The white one has a blue 125 decal on the passenger side of the lower kick plate.
Still no luck find the pop tops, so go ahead and send them Bobbie. After this one, we should just run a tab, it all balances out at some point

I think I'll let me g-son open the Mystery one, he'll be up this coming weekend
Bobbie, I got the package - thank you
I also found a new 1:9th scale RC MINI at Big-Lots today, ok I found 2 of them and my wife really found them, but regardless they are at the house
One is CR/W and the other is EB/W. I'll get a picture up tomorrow, nice thing is they are on different freq's so we can race each other
