Yet another new MINI ad. Continuing the series of "blank slate" ads is a new half-page ad showing a blank lined notebook page, a blank grid paper page, and a blank paper notebook followed by an EB/W MINI sticking out into (and over) the ad above. Scan soon.

Thanks for the day of fun, James!
I went right down to Borders (well, after calling first) to buy Metropolis. Once home, I had so much fun going through it scrutinizing the tiny Minis (redundancy redounds)!
A card that fell out says a year's subscription is $27 and change. Wish we knew if the Mini ads will continue. I sure am embarrassed about being a little old lady carrying back "Maxim" and "Stuff" from the community mailbox. Think I should donate my subscriptions to a serviceman in Iraq?
Peace,
Susan

NEW AD!
I got my August/September 2005 issue of Metropolis magazine today. There is a MINI ad spread over 31 pages of the magazine! The ad begins on page 12 with the line: OVER 24 MILLION COMBINATIONS AND COUNTING. WHAT WILL MAKE YOURS UNIQUE? and a tiny white MINI next to the page number. Then randomly throughout the magazine there are different MINIs next to the page numbers at the bottom of the pages. The ad ends on page 166 with a small MINI logo and an all-white MINI.
First Page (page 12):

Last Page (page 166):

Metropolis. August/Spetember 2005. (pages 12, 16, 18, 22, 24, 28, 34, 38, 50, 54, 56, 60, 64, 68, 72, 74, 82, 92, 96, 100, 144, 147, 148, 149, 151, 155, 157, 159, 161, 165, 166)

Susan, I wouldn't subscribe to Metropolis for the MINI ads. They have only 2 or so a year and they've all been in the newsstand issues. I still don't understand why MINI doesn't advertise in dwell magazine.
Even though I'm a single man, I can't see myself subscribing to Maxim and Stuff.
Another MINI ad found, although not a new ad:

LET'S STOP FOR ANYTHING BUT GAS.

Woo Hoo!!
Hopefully this one hasn't been posted yet - I didn't see it anywhere... October 05 issue of Automobile magazine has a new MINI ad!
One the front it says:
"Let's Make Other Tanks Feel Inadequate. Let's find the gas-guzzlers and flip 'em the lid. Let's boast adventures per gallon. Let's flaunt unleaded thrills. Let's have the badded looking tank this side of a self-serve. Let's never forget to close the lid. Let's Motor"
And on the back:
A gas tank lid decal (peel off sticker) with a skull and cross bones. Apparently this is 1 in a series of 3 sticker ads.
Unfortunately, I think this one is going to be in subscription copies only since it is a pull-out. I attached a couple of pics.

I get all the Autoweek pull-outs as I subscribe. Last year I picked up a Men's Health mag at the bookstore and it had that odd "Men of Metal" pull-out that I didn't even realize was an add until later.
Another new MINI ad. Four fold-out MOTORING CITATIONs:

LET'S TAKE THE LAW INTO OUR OWN HANDS
Let's slap someone with a compliment. Let's reward a really good parking job. Let's write someone up for having a sweet set of wheels. Let's be sure we make this month's quota. LET'S MOTOR.®
(INS006-05) Fold-out ad with four numbered MOTORING CITATIONs.

I just saw the link on the first page of this thread that has all of the Mini ads and i saw the section with the driving routes from each city. Does any one know where to get a copy or enlarge-able version of the chicago route?!? I would love to go run it!

That's my list.
Here you go: libraryofmotoring.info/ads/chicagomilkrunbig.jpg
I think MINIUSA.com should post a PDF of the MOTORING CITATIONs so we could print them ourselves to leave on other MINIs.

Also by chance - happened to look through the November 2005 issue of The Atlantic - found an ad called "Let's Celebrate our Victories" on page 173. I do believe this one has been out before, but I didn't have it - so now I do...
Did not find the ad in the Automobile magazine. Must be subscription only - poop...
So I am still looking for the 8 Ball to complete my 3 series collection. Anybody have an extra??????????
Donna
Donna, thanks for correcting the page numbers for the Grassroots Motorsports ad. I realized I put the wrong pages, but I completely forgot to update my post!
Also, I found a new ad in the November 2005 issue of Stuff magazine. It's on pages 2-3. Here's a pic:

The text at the top reads: "The 2006 MINI Grab Handle. Double bolted for a reason."
I am curious what your opinions are on this ad. I'm not a huge fan of this one.

Wow - this new ad is COMPLETELY different than anything put out before. I wonder if it was done by the NEW ad agency?
Was it in a subscription copy?
