MaxMINI Pic
Here's a pic I snapped while at Las Vegas Speedway. While it was shot during AMVIV 3, I don't consider it an AMVIV photo.
The photograph shows Randy T's car (MaxMINI in the foreground with the Cosworth MINI (CooperSS) behind it. There are other vehicles in the vicinity along with a few pedestrians. The cars are parked off a service road inside the raceway (near the pits) with the track off in the background.
As is my taste, it is a low-angle shot. The lens used was the less-expensive 70-300mm Nikkor zoom on a D70 body. An optional attachment included Nikon's DR-6 (right angle viewfinder) which I find very helpful when shooting from a very low position.
The color original was converted to B&W mainly because I wanted to highlight Randy's DS/B MCS against the looming weather. As with traditional black and white photography, I made use of the dodge and burn tools in Photoshop Elements. I wasn't sure whether to clone out the visible feet or not but decided to keep them in this time. (Perhaps a bad choice?)

P.S.: If you click on the pic, you can see a larger version.

As always Juan 2 thumbs up!
I like the color version as well, but the B&W draws you in nicely!
