Kinda off topic but I was always afraid to take mine to a automated wash b/c I was afraid the wheels would be damaged from the tracks. But judging by your photos it looks like there's adequate clearance.

Cool pics, but it pains me to see a Mini at a car wash. Of course I spend 6 hours today washing my two Minis so I am a bit cranky.

yep, always use a "brushless" car wash or do it by hand.
