Even up here in Calgary we don't have any snow Its been so warm lately, everything is melted away. How about dead brown grass? Got lots of those here... it is kind of a winter theme

Yep, unless your idea of winter is intense green like it will be here following the rain

I'm S.O.L.

If snow is a requirement, then I'm out.

I didn't read snow into it. It said winter motoring. Not everyone has snow to drive in during winter. I have lots and lots of water, so that will have to do. Maybe I'll put a coat and mittens on Bumble.

Mittens on the side mirros, now that would be cute.

Good comments on what the definition of winter is, depending on your locality. Beach, water, still s.o.l.! Mirror mittens...that I'll do!

Can't you southwest people just use a few bags of flour as "snow"? Or maybe that fake snow-in-a-can they sell in holiday stores - that stuff is probably great for paint!

Who's idea was it to have a winter photo contest in January?

There's been no snow here for a month, well maybe a little but it never sticks. This is the easiest winter I can remember.

Well easy for most of us.
