we had a blast running up minarets,ALMOST NO TRAFFIC, Mammoth pool turned out to be Mammoth puddle this time of year, went on to arch rock, then back down beasore meadow road-a one lane track through the forest that was kinda rough in spots, kinda tight in oncoming traffic, but a great time in all!! here are somepics i took, other may have more/better ones.

 

 

Ken, the wheels look great on your car.

 

I see you recognized the wheels, thought maybe you might not recognize the car without the strip. The car goes a whole lot faster with the wheels. Great run with lots of twisties. All MCS's and I was the only automatic. It felt like a whole day on the race track. For us old guys the paddles are great and allowed me to stay up with the others without having to take a nap. Ken

Okay, with expert assistance I now have the"Minarets Run" pictures in my gallery. Not as good as Scot's pictures but for me very credible. :-)

 

Ken. I'm really digging how the wheels look on your car. They look much better on yours than they did on mine.

Ken, I thinkyour shots look great-I especially like the "from the top" views at redinger overlook-they are cool! we did this run at this time of year to avoid traffic, see some fall scenery, and avoid the spring/summer crowds. we will likely repeat it next year, possibly in october, hopefully more folks can attend.

 

Even in the dead of summer traffic isn;t too bad. You just have to watch out for rednecks who think the yellow lines are only sugestions...
