MINI's Ad Agency is hosting a run starting with (8am) breakfast in San Francisco (Crissy Field), cross the Golden Gate, to Stinson beach, up Mt. Tam and ending at the agency in Sausalito. There we will give tours of the agency and you can meet the people that make those really cool ads.

I don't know if I will be on this one or not. Just realized its on a Sunday.

Saturday, I will be on "The Streets of Bakersfield Run" with the SoCal Mini Maniacs, along with whoever else wants to go along.

Its alot like the 155 run we did coming back from Vegas, just better.

Very cool run, 34 Mini's last year, should be more this year. Also its on Saturday, and dosen't leave Bakersfield until noon.
I will post info soon.

 

Cool. It wouldn't be too bad to make the drive to bakersfield... Now I just need new tires.

 

2 people had flats last year.

One guy had a flat before the run even began. Another had one about 50 miles from Bakersfield. Good thing he had runflats. He stayed in Bakersfield that night, got a tire the next day to get him bye, and drove back to LA.

 

Hmmm... Wierd... Well, We will see if I have to get new tires before then... I will put probably 1000 miles on this weekend, but I will rotate the tired first.

 

We mighr be interested in the Bakersfield run.. Where can we get info on this run??

Its a SoCal Mini run, but I told them I was going to bring others along. It was alot of fun last year. As always, it will end up at a Irish Pub.

Getting ready to post the info. I got the ok from the SoCal boss man.

 

The Ad Agency Run is a no-brainer for me. They are a block away from my office in the Arques Shipyard so I just won't go home that weekend. It would be a push to do the Bakersfield run and Ad Agency.

Bakersfield is a longer version of the Hwy. 155 run.

 

I may go to the Ad agency get together, since it is not that far from Vacaville. Steve, let me know if you are going to that one. Blake you should come out to check out the Bay area. Bakersfield sounds like fun but it is just too far. I will see you guys later.

No, it goes on all the twistie roads all around it. I don't think any of it is on a Hwy. Other than getting there. Calliente/Bodfish rd. is most of it.

Acouple people, passengers got sick last year also.

 

Maybe Blake's dad will go along with him on this one, too. Blake's ear must have stopped ringing by now.
