Since you live there part-time, give me an idea of how much time and miles I would have to expect for the Ad run if I were to go.

Its alittle over 3 hours long 100 miles or so. Great views, lots of twisty roads, a couple of small waterfalls and two free meals. Plus a raffle with all the bay area dealers supplying prizes. 100% goes to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Plus about 200 miles and 3.5 hours to get to Sausalito.

You'll have to call Sarah at BSSP and ask her.

I mean, are we just talking cold bagels, or full-on eggs benedict?

I think I'm in...

I emailed Sarah last Friday but have not heard back yet. I would be nice to have more details about this event. Dianne

I sent my RSVP so I'm going for sure. No mods on the weekend of April 29th.

SF Midnight Run with Ad Agency Day
Since many are planning to attend the BSSP Ad agency run starting at Crissy Field in SF on Sunday morning April 30th, anybody interested in making it a MINI night in SF? Some will be travelling a fair distance. Why not come early, have some fun, and you won't have to drive that far in the AM.

The idea of buzzing around SF at night sounds great. Coit Tower, Twin Peaks, Broadway, Embarcadero, China Town, Fisherman's Warf, Riding the Cable cars, an Irish coffee at Buena Vista, etc....etc...etc....

A drive out to Treasure Island with cameras for some shots of the SF skyline at sunset. A couple of HOT laps around Union Square.

Then the Ad agency breakfast and run starting at Crissy field. Hot Coffee and bagels.

This does not have to be a formal "event", just a bunch of rogue MINIs having "a night out on the town". Tuxes and Evening gowns are optional. We can find a meetup point and go from there.

If interested please either post on NAM or drop me an email. (norm@redwoodempiremini.com or just show up.

By the way, and for the record, the idea of a Midnight SF Run came from McLeonard and the NIKKI Bammers (so if it turns out bad, it's his fault). If is turns out great, I'll take the credit.

New Staring Point !!!!!!!

The starting point has been changed to BSSP in Sausilito due to other things going on at Chrissy Field that day. Peter has directions at the top of REME's forum on the run. Spread the word.

First let me say that we plan to still make “a night of it” in SF. We have, and several others have, made hotel reservations in SF to spend the night (not exactly cheap). Those that wish to do the same are all welcome to join in on a “non-official/non sanctioned” rogue run in the city by the bay. It will be fun no matter what. Obviously anyone that lives near SF does not need a hotel

Although I have put my name on this event by doing everything possible to help publicize and promote it, I have no control over it (obviously). This news came to me as a posting on , just as it is coming to you. I can’t answer anyone’s questions regarding this event. I suggest that you contact the organizers.

Here is the message that I just got off LarryP: Due to a rally on the bridge and at Chrissy Field plus a MS walk for charity there. The starting point has been moved to the BSSP Agency. #10 Liberty Ship Way, Sausilito. Take the Sausilito exit off 101 follow the Sausilito signs. Its on the left side just past the Bay Model. Let all your people know and post this on your sites. New maps have been made and sent to Sarah.
