I have mentioned at our past meeting that I would work on getting a special photo opportunity set up. It looks like were a go on the 23rd of August at 1000 here in sunny Lemoore. I will need some information from those that wish to go on this run. I will need via PM the driver and passengers first and last name, date of birth, address and drivers license number, US Citizen or non US Citizen. I will have a sheet at the get together on Sunday that people can fill out. The photo below will give you an idea on the picture background

Just a heads up I will have to cut off the list on the 17th of August as I need to turn the list in to make the entry easier. I will be out of town from the 28th of July - 11 August however I will be checking my email and NAM during that time.

 

On Sunday 23 August meet at the Starbucks Coffee at Hwy 41 and Shaw leaving at 0900. I will be leading the group south on Hwy 41 to 198. We will be meeting anyone coming from the south valley at the NAS Lemoore parking lot by the Pass and Decal building its the very small building that you fist come to when you take the exit, where Suzie will be with her Yellow Cabrio at 9:20am. When you take the exit for the base stay in the left lane bearing to the right at the split. Once were all rallied up we will press on for a photo opportunity. Photography will be allowed so bring your camera's. I will need the following information from all who wish to do this part of the run to include any passengers in the car: Last name, First Name / Date of Birth / Address / Drivers License of ID number / US Citizen or Non US Citizen. A copy of the registration and current proof of insurance will be required on this run or access to picture site will not be granted. The run to the photo site will be done around 12:30pm at which time we will head to Hanford and go to Superior Dairy for a cool refreshment. Please provide information so we can ensure that the time allowed for photos is maximized by sending me a PM.

As of today we have 9 cars going with a total of 13 people. The wonderful black and yellow background now has another obligation out of town and will have to have a stand-in fill in.




This will give you an idea of the new background Sorry Jiminni it will not be airborne putting on a show with the landing gear in transition but rather firmly setting on 4 wheels

Kikimowse and Bitzie are in with both cars. Does anyone know if MariposaDust is coming? We are hoping to bring Mrs D (daughter of Monie and BaaBaa, formerly from Mariposa) with us. She would love to see Dusty and Suzie. We will send all "topsecret" data this weekend for all parties attending.

 

Sounds great that puts us over 20 cars that want to play. Provide the information. I'm away from my computer at this second however if my memory is correct yes they are going.

I think having jet lag and having people back on the mainland call me at 0300 wanting to talk about stuff that really does not matter in my sleep deprived mind might be having a small effect..

Not a problem. Yvonne is in and I know that once she runs with us this time she will be in for other events as well. There will be other opportunities for a reunion.

She is such a blast to be with and is like our big Sis. Jan, her daughter and Bitzie have been best buds since the second grade. Since I had my license before they did, I was adopted as the designated driver and now of course, amazingly enough, we are all the same age! Funny how that works. Who knows, we might even be able to convence Yvonne that she needs a MINI!

Have fun in Tahoe and know that you will be missed.
